Puffin - notelet (A6)
SKU: CA6PUFF
ON THE BACK:
The puffin is one of the commonest seabirds in northern Europe, 10% of the world’s population living around the British Isles. They excavate and nest in underground burrows. When old enough, yet still in their burrows, the chicks are abandoned by the adults. The chicks then leave the safety of their burrows at night to avoid predators. Breeding colonies occur at several sites around the British Isles affording wonderful chances to see these charismatic birds close-up.
