Wildflower-rich meadow - notelet (A6)
SKU: CA6WIME
ON THE BACK:
97% of our wildflower-rich meadows have disappeared since the 1930s. With the loss of the flowers there is an associated loss of insect populations that depend on the meadows as a source of food and for shelter. Animals (such as bats, birds and hedgehogs) that feed on the insects are, in turn, negatively impacted. By turning over part of one’s lawn to a mini meadow (ideally with native flowers and grasses), one can directly help struggling insect populations.
